There are many private and provincial camp grounds in our area of central Ontario. Please see the list of places to camp for a few local suggestions.
When booking a site in a Provincial Park or private Camp Park, you will need a site that will accommodate the minimum length of trailer you are booking.
Hydro is recommended when booking your site, as well as sewer and water hook if when available.
When parking a trailer on private property, a level area where an extension cord and a garden hose can reach is best.
The trailer's features like air conditioning and showers are best utilized on sites with full service.
In Provincial Parks there are no water or sewer hookups, you will need to be conservative with the water you are using from the trailers onboard supply. The fresh water tank will be filled for you prior to delivery and the waste water tanks will be emptied.  We do not refill or empty tanks during your stay. For onsite tank emptying, we have rental gear available or you can call a company such as Bill's Johns.Â

Yes! Trailers have a 12volt power supply onboard that will run your lights and water pump, etc. You will just need to be conservative with the power and water that you use. Available to rent are solar panels or an extra battery. Camping without electricity; the Air Conditioning, Microwave, and 120V outlets will not work.
The pickup driver will empty the tanks for you when the trailer is picked up and there is no extra cost involved. If camping over a long period of time, arrangements can be made to have grey and black water tanks emptied without moving the trailer; there is an added fee charged by the service provider. Bill's Johns offers a great service for this or you can rent gear from us and add another layer to your camping experience.Â
Trailers are delivered before 6 pm on the confirmed delivery date. We try to have deliveries on-site as close to check-in as possible, but this isn't always possible.
Trailers are picked up starting between 10:30 am and 11:00 am. Please have personal items removed from the trailer for around this time.Â
Arranged pick-up and drop-off times can be requested, but can not always be made.Â
You will need to reserve your campsite and trailer for the preceding night allowing for an early delivery time. The reason for this is: Campgrounds have various check-in check-out times up to 2 pm so your site may not be available until late in the day, and the trailer may be reserved by another family and needs to be cleaned and serviced before it is ready for you.Â
You need to bring your own pillows, sheets and blankets, toiletries, and groceries, etc. Due to the ever-evolving state of the current COVID-19 pandemic we've had to make many changes to the stocking.Â
Please see the "Do Not Pack" list for all supplies already on board the trailer.
We accept E-transfer, Personal cheques, Cash, and Credit Cards.
Personal cheques can be sent care of: Cottages on Wheels 514 Bigford Road Quinte West, On K0K 1H0 Â

Call or text us to see if we are still in the park/area. If not, any returned items are subject to a $ 50 minimum or discretionary fee.
There are folding chairs, coolers, outdoor tables, dining tents, shade canopies, solar panels, waste management totes, freshwater filling jugs. All extra gear is requestable but subject to availability. Ask us during the booking process.
The trailers are pet-friendly, with a few requirements. The pet is not to be left alone in the trailer. A bed is to be brought for them and please try to keep them off the beds, furniture. If there is any damage or additional cleaning needed you will be billed.
